Lots of developers work with open source, but only a tiny fraction of those are good enough to get software that was designed for one platform to work on another one. I've got CompeGPS Land for the Mac which, theoretically, works with an external USB aerial for the GPS. I've been trying to find the same thing for 2 years for my MacBook Air.
